Property desciption.
This wonderful Holiday Apartment is situated in the beautiful town of Supetar on the holiday island of Brac. It is a modern 3 stars tourist ranking apartment with a stunning panoramic view of the sea and the resort (you can see all the way to Split). The sea can be seen not only from the balcony, but from the living room, bedroom and kitchen. The apartment is ideally suited for family with 2 to 4 children. We also provide a baby travel cot. Just ask when booking.
Apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a living room, a shower room and a balcony big enough to have an evening meal on. There is a large double bed, 2 single beds and a double sofa bed in the living room. The beach, shops, town centre and port are all within 5 to 10 minutes walk.
A second apartment on the floor below may be available for larger groups. The apartment is placed on the second floor of the house that has 6 apartments. It is a new apartment and was first time rented in 2006. The size of the apartment is 50 m2. Apartment is situated in a very quiet area, but still only 5 minute walk to the first beach and 10 minutes walk to the port.
The dramatic mountains on the mainland can be seen from the bed when waking up in the morning. One of the pleasures of the day is a wander down to the bakery to get breakfast, before the sun gets too hot. Then, later, going and cooling off in the sea.
The balcony is facing north-west, so it stays cool and pleasant during hot summer days. In the late afternoon /early evening the balcony does get the sun. There's air conditioning in the living room. The air conditioner can be used as a heater if you come in spring or autumn. There's a floor heating in the shower room, as well as a washing machine. Each bedroom has a spacious wardrobe. There are also cupboards in the living room.
Kitchen is fully equipped. It has a dish washer, cooker, hob and fridge. There's also a dining table for 6 people to eat.
Location Description.
Supetar is situated on the north side of the island of Brač, one of the most attractive Middle Dalmatian islands. The ferry line connects it with the town of Split in only 45 minutes. Supetar was built in the cove of St Peter by which it obtained its name. It is considered today as one of the main tourist centres. You can enjoy its cultural monuments, various sports and recreation programmes.
It has lots of restaurants (our recommendation is restaurant Žiža or Palute) where one can enjoy the local, Mediterranean cooking, as well some other Croatian specialities. There are also many little (coffee) bars that are in the season open till the early morning hours.
Beaches: rocky, pebble, some beaches have sandy areas in the water.
If you come by car then we recommend going around the island and visit places like Bol, Milna, Pucisca. Cars can also be rented in Supetar, but it is a little more expensive than in Split.
There are also buses connecting Supetar with the other places on the island, so having a car is not a necessity.
